Senior Urban Designer

Ana Isabel is an architect and urban designer with over 12 years of combined experience in urban design and community planning. She has a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia.

 Ana Isabel’s expertise in urban design integrates aspects of the larger context with quality design details. She has worked on projects in a variety of scales, from site-specific plans, urban design guidelines, community design plans to master plans, in Canada, China and the Middle East. Ana Isabel continuously supports the firm’s partners on highest and best studies, avenue studies and peer reviews for various municipalities in Ontario.  

In all instances, Ana Isabel’s main objective is to provide high quality environments that respond to current demands while supporting potential future conditions. Her passion for design in architectural and urban scenarios is complemented by her creative thinking and analytical skills towards the project’s viability and success. Ana Isabel’s professional expertise is supported by her technical skills working in both digital (CAD, Adobe Suite, Office) and non-digital (hand sketch) mediums, which allow her to prepare the different materials that effectively communicate a project’s design intention/objectives.
