MANULIFE HEADQUARTERS

Working with MartinSimmons Architects in Waterloo, we were retained to enhance the outdoor amenity spaces surrounding the Manulife Headquarters in Waterloo, Ontario.
We took a 100 percent native species approach to planting a variety of spaces including parking lot islands, walkways, and a dry storm pond beneath a sweeping curved walkway. We co-developed the overall design with the architects and were responsible tor paving and planting details as well as a thin metal stair to accompany the walkway.
We selected bold modern furnishings for the new amenity spaces creating clusters of seating allowing for gathering in small or larger groups.
