Associate, Urban Designer
Robin is an Associate and Urban Designer with 18 years of experience. He has a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture and a Masters of Urban Design degree, both from the University of Toronto.
Robin has worked on guidelines, strategies and plans for urban corridors, university campuses, secondary plan areas and communities, community improvement plans, urban design guidelines, zoning by-laws, official plan amendments, plans of subdivision, environmental assessments, park and landscape designs, and master plans. Projects have included several Ottawa area urban design studies, a Planning Framework & Implementation Strategy for Bloor-Yorkville BIA, a Transit-Oriented Development Study for the City of Shaker Heights in Cleveland, as well as a Public Art Plan for the City of Vaughan. For Niagara Region, Robin recently completed a Brock District Plan and a vision for Glendale Niagara District. He has done extensive work for York University including the Keele Campus Master Plan Update, a Vision for York’s Glendon Campus, and planning studies for the Edge Precincts. Award-winning projects Robin has worked on include the Illustrated Zoning By-law and Development Standards Manual for the Town of LaSalle, the Urban Corridor Planning study for the City of Houston, the Yellowknife Harbour Plan, and Downtown Moves: Transforming Ottawa’s Streets.
Robin’s expertise includes 3-dimensional visualization and modelling, illustrative representation and visual communications.
