STACEY MCCULLOCH | BES, MLA, MCIP, RPP
Associate, Urban Designer + Policy Planner
Stacey is an Associate at The Planning Partnership with 20 years of planning and urban design experience. She has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Honours), Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph. Stacey is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and is a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP).
Her approach to creating livable communities is based on an understanding of the need for public health and climate change adaptation in the built environment. Encouraging and implementing planning and urban design strategies that promote sustainable communities, healthy human development, active transportation, and a live/work balance should be at the forefront of all policy, design, and guideline development. The built environment should be designed to create opportunities for residents to be physically active and socially engaged.
Stacey’s professional experience and portfolio of projects includes policy planning, land use planning, community planning, and guideline development. She has come to specialize in community design with a focus on sustainability with a portfolio that includes numerous projects, both public and private, that are incorporating sustainable initiatives. Stacey is also a member of the Council for Canadian Urbanism (CanU) Urban Resilience Caucus.
